Light Table won't display CR2 files

Mac OSX 10.6.7 Apple rendering

Viewing files in Light Table - when Canon CR2 file selected I only see a black screen after a brief "Preparing Image..." message. Other image types (TIFF, Panasonic RW2 and RAW, NEF) are fine.

  I have had a similar experience with the light table but with NEF files. When I am in a large catalog, on my Macbook Pro I am looking at about 400 in the file down selected to about 80, the converted catalog seems fine, then one particular file seemed to hang, when the frame info at the bottom finished coming in. I get the black screen and a white box. The application freezes and the beach ball spins, I've let it spin up to twenty minutes without a successful result. I think it is probably an error msg. but cant tell. I force the MP application to quit and loose the catalog at that point, but find an Apple crash error box and then an error box from Phase One. I noted the file and managed to duplicate this error on the same file multiple times. I restarted found the image thumb and rebuilt it. Then I was able to move through the light table without problems. I am going to rebuild folder thumbnails after converting catalogs until I here back on the support case I just put in. I hope they get these bugs fixed soon. I have stuck with this program for year and years, since IVM v2. It would be a shame to have gotten this far and not have this tool rise back up.
