change from 3.5.2 to 3.6 ... minor bug?
Not a big deal, but still it bugs me ...
I just went thru 140 shots of puffins-in-flight with 3.6 SE, looking at them at 100% (400% preview size) to check eye sharpness and moving about 50 of them to the 'trash' folder with the 'delete' key.
Then I opened the trash folder to check them one more time, in case I changed my mind or, more common, hit the delete key when I didn't mean to.
The files in the trash folder would not regenerate at 400/100%. That is, when I clicked the magnify glass to get them to 100% they stayed pixelated and the little circular icon indicating re-generation didn't open.
I saved a couple of them to check with 3.5.2 and deleted the rest, then opened up V 3.5.2 to see how the earlier program handles resizing of files in the trash folder. As I remembered, 3.5.2 WILL generate an accurate preview at 400/100% and that was indeed the case. This makes it much easier to evaluate the files, I feel.
So it looks like 3.6 has changed. It's not a show-stopper but I think it's a minor bug since I'd like to look at the trash files at 100% with an accurate preview.
These are .cr2 files from a 1D Mark II ... I'll try this with .tif files from a 1Ds to see if the same thing happens.

Just make sure that 3.5.2 and 3.6 are not installed in the same folder at the same time! 0 -

I have them installed in different folders and can go from one to the other easily. Given all the problems with 3.6 this turned out to be a lucky move.
I filed a Support Case on this and they were able to duplicate it and agreed it was a bug in 3.6 so hopefully it will be fixed in the service update.
