JPG Noise
Why is it that Capture 1 adds SO MUCH noise to JPG files? It's not there in the TIFF, and if I use PS to convert the TIFF to JPG it's not there, either.
I've posted two samples of a shot. They are both a section only of the shot. (Careful, they're almost 2mb each).
One is a C1 conversion to High Quality JPG. There is a lot of noise visible in the vertical strips on the shot.

The second sample is a TIFF from C1 that was converted to JPG from TIFF via PS.

It's very disapointing. I'm a hobbyist, not a pro. I coughed up the money to avoid Camera RAW, which I hate, so that I could use C1, which I really like--EXCEPT FOR THIS DANG NOISE!!!
I've been told that the problem's been there all along. How is this acceptable?
