Using an old session as a 'template'
I'm missing something obvious and no matter how hard I look I just can't see the answer. Help please.
I thought my problem would be best illustrated by a full description so bear with me!
I shoot wine bottles - lots of them. Usually I shoot the bottle, then the label and then the cap and then composite them all into a single final image. The shot of the glass is the long part of the job and so I'm wanting to use previous bottle images for new shots and so all I then need to do is shoot the new label. Following so far?
However, when I open an old session that has the bottle image I want to use and try to make a new capture image (I shoot tethered through my Mac) the said old images I'm using as a template disappear. I need to see the template images so I can get the label etc in the correct position. What am I doing wrong? Ideally over time I want to make a session full of bottles with differing lighting so I can just draw down those shots and then just shoot the new label.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jon
