Leica M8 and CO
It's good to see the forum back on line.
I am using CO Pro for processing M8 raw images, as it gives better colour than the Lightroom beta, and better control of noise. In addition the ability to use standard ICC profiles gives some scope for dealing with the problems of IR sensitivity.
One thing I do find is that the colour noise at 1250 and 2500 ISO is quite disturbing and I am processing more of my low light images to black and white. However, I do find it inconvenient that the switch from a colour to a BW profile affects all the images in the preview. Is there any possibility that in the future CO will allow us to select a profile from a directly accessible drop-down list and apply input profiles on an image by image basis?
Another inconvenience is that the optimum basic exposure and film type settings are not the same for colour and black and white. It would be valuable to be able keep two sets of adjusments for an image and to be able to switch between them, so that colour and BW settings can both be saved for a single raw image.
I find the tools available in Lightroom to fine tune the tonality curve very intuitive and easy to use. Is there any likelihood that CO will adopt a similar approach?

Save the settings as a style when you are using the desired profile, disable the other options and voila you have a profile accessible as a pulldown from the styles menu.
And you should be using my M8 profiles.

Thanks for the suggestion. I should have stated that I am using the Windows' version of C1. It appears that styles are currently available only for the Mac.
