Constant disconnect-Nikon D3s

I'm having endless disconnects and has become a very bad thing. Need help figuring tis out as there is no rhyme or reason. Running 10.6.8 on a MacBookPro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB Ram C1 Pro 6.2.2. This has been ongoing for a very long time. Be nice to get a response this time being I've posted this before with no reply.

  I just shot tethered the other night at a charity event and had disconnect issues also w/ D3s.
