Is lens correction automatic?
I'm a little confused about this, assuming a given lens is supported by C1 are the lens corrections applied automatically or do I have to go into the lens correction tool for each image and manually apply it ❓
I ask this because in an earlier post someone mentioned enabling or disabling auto correction, I can't seem to find this option anywhere?

Hi
I am having the same problem.
Images I have taken with a Canon 70-200mm F2.8L have an automatic setting applied in the Lens Correction tab of 100 in Distortion and this slightly alters the image size when I output the file, even if I output at 100%.
I cannot find a way to disable Lens Correction - for now I have had to set up a Style which sets the Distortion to 0 in the Lens Correction tab which I have to apply to all the images as soon as I import - before I make any other adjustments, not ideal.
Does anyone know how to disable Lens Correction from "Auto" detecting a particular lens and applying settings?

When a lens is supported in CO7 it is automatically detected and corrections are applied.
In case of a correction for distortion, the edge of the image may be cropped off. You can reset this by unchecking 'Hide Distorted Areas'. Of course you can set the Distortion slider to 0 (zero) but that removes the correction as well.
In case you do not want any lens correction applied, I suggest to select Generic for lens Profile, uncheck any checkbox and set all sliders to zero. Save these settings to a Preset and apply the preset for a faster workflow.0
