Smart Album with *edited* images
Dear all - coming from Aperture and now trying to create a similar workflow. I am trying to figure out how to create a Smart Album with pictures where specific adjustments have been applied to. Am I overlooking something or are Smart Albums in C1 much more limited (basically EXIF, ranking & colours) than their peers in Aperture?

Unfortunately the former. C1 Smart Albums are very limited. The biggest missing feature is IMHO the ability to choose the source for the album. In Aperture you could place a smart album anywhere you want and have it parse any type of subset you want.
It seems C1 does not have any kind of "zero" status for an image or a slider. As soon as it is imported, it counts as "edited".0 -
I see - that's a real pity. I loved that feature. Lightroom also has no propers solution to that.
So I guess it would be great if that could be added to a next release - Smart Folders based on adjustments that have been applied. Both on high-level (an adjustment has been made yes/no) and detailed (an exposure correction has been made yes/no).0 -
Do make a support ticket as well ! I made one for smart albums too, based on meta data and such. I had in Aperture some smart albums based on Lens focal length and used focal length for pictures.
It would be great if smart albums could be extended in the future. Those worked superb in Aperture indeed.0 -

I had those too, but here I would recommend now to use the "Filters" section below the Library tool tab. This is the section which shows you ratings, color tags etc.
Here's the key: you can modify what type of filters are shown here by clicking on that little, magic "three dots" button in the upper right corner. There you can add different types of filters, among them type of camera body and lenses.
The great advantage here is, that you don't need to build new smart albums for every new lens. The metadata is populated by the data in the catalog, meaning new lenses automatically pop up.
You can also combine filters using CTRL.0 -

Thanks for that suggestion, sounds very workable indeed. Will give that a go.0 -

....C1's Filters are so powerful that I'm not sure of the need for Smart Albums to be implemented in a future version.0
