Export to JPEG from preview?
Is there a way of exporting/extracting jpegs from the catalog previews with the originals offline?
Thanks,

If there is no original file, there is nothing to reference in the export process. As such, this is not possible. 0 -
Thanks for the answer. I understand that it's not possible as it is but "there is nothing to reference in the export process" makes me wonder. When offline I can see a preview and wouldn't that be something to reference to? 0 -
Perhaps you can make a separate catalog with the jpegs you want and have it "portable". Possibly needing the source files to do this at the start. Or Make a file as a slide show, or try Image editor?
Well, If MPro uses the catalog info to do these tasks.0 -
How i understand the question is that Lann?r wants to use the previews that are generated bij EM2 and MP1 when the image is imported into the database.
Should the original images be destroyed, the preview will still exists. To just see this preview you don't need the original, you just need EM2 or MP1...
So, technical spoken, it must be possible to export this image outside the EM or MP database onto the filesystem as JPG or whatever. This function is not present yet but i could be build i think.

Hi,
thanks for the interest in this post.
The main reason why I would like to export the previews (small 800 px) into JPEGs is because I want to send selections of images to my customers when I’m on the run.
One of my customers is a stock photo agency that needs my drafts in small JPEGs for their selection in return. Others need the JPEGs for trying out the images in their design before final pick. And so on.
As Roelof says â€technical spoken, it must be possible†and I totally agree.
Thanks,
