    This release fixes the delay when zooming in, which was around 4 seconds with the former build on windows 10 in a large catalogue. It is now near instant. Overall performance is much smoother and snappier. It may have been an issue with my particular graphics card though.
    Load times on collections such as smart albums remain very long.

    So still no performance improvements for the iMac 5K... this seems really short-sighted. Possibly the best hardware and value configuration for photo editing yet slower than a good MacBook? Is this just too much screen resolution for the internal design of Capture One? The software has always been able to deal with large files from the digital backs. Is it a matter of not being compatible with the GPUs in these machines? What's the basic issue here?

    Do you realise you are posting in the Windows forum?

    Even if you don't I would assume that your question would be best posed to Phase through a Support Case rather than some sort of generic blunderbuss post.

    For what it is worth I can say that the way I use Capture One on Windows (7) machine does not persistently have performance issues. But then neither am I perpetually enticed into adopting technology standards I do not need not want.

    I'm not sure "enticed" is the correct word here.

    Coerced might be more pertinent.

    From Full-HD to 5K, that's a lot more info to process (7 times, if I calculated right), I'm not surprised there's a bottleneck somewhere, but if it's fair to blame C1, I'm not sure...

    Full HD (1920 x 1080) = 2.073.600 pixels / 5K (5120 x 2880)= 14.745.600 pixels, right?

    Please create a support-case right away, so we can get you up and running again.

    For me, color markers have stopped working. C1P 8.3.3 loses/resets existing color markers, and newly assigned ones once the image in question is deselected. This is on Windows 10 64 bit, in case that's relevant.

    Okay love the software and the updates make the program run faster with my D800/D750 files.

    HOWEVER Why has Samsung NX1 camera file support been dropped from this release?!! As one of the camera bodies I shoot with this is very disappointing, I've tried going around it with a samsungs DNG converter, but those files are ridiculously slow with capture one.

    Is support going to be brought back? Can I roll back to a previous release to continue editing these files???

    Thank you.

    * Page 14 cites file support for the Leica Q (Typ. 116) as being "prelim" but there is no explanation of what might NOT be optimal.
    * Page 20 cites no support at all for the Leica Q fixed lens camera in the 'Fixed Lens Cameras' section and only mentions the Typ. 109 and the Typ. 113.

    How comprehensive *is* the support for the Leica Q in C1 8.3.3 under Windows 10 64-bit?

    My own Typ. 116 has now been delivered and I would like to utilise my newly purchased license for C1 in the rendering of its RAW files. FWIW the C1 input mechanism results in poor (colour) quality; whereas C1's tools are remarkably wonderful however C1's regression mechanism down to sRGB output is of poor (colour) quality. As such my license for C1 cannot be put into production here under Windows 10 64-bit.

    When support is preliminary, expect that CO can read and the standard format of the camera, and that colors are roughly in order, but not more than that.

    Regarding your sRGB issue, please create a support case, as I think you have some Color Management issues.

    "Rough" Yes, I'd agree with rough:-)

    Ah, I had this feeling it would be my issues (plural). Still, on the bright side, it'll be considerably quicker to fix my issues.

    There are no such issues that I can attribute to the SilkyPIX RAW renderer. Leica Q stuff goes in, gets edited (admittedly its tools are rather more crude than those wonderful tools you have kindly made available in C1) and stuff comes out in a fully controlled sRGB fashion. It just works. Out of the box. No colour management problem or problems. No training required or necessary.

    I will greatly look forward to obtaining the guidance necessary for me to more appropriately drive C1. There is much work backlogged having been delayed by the recent licensing of C1. Tomorrow. And thank you for the clarity of your suggestion.

    Tried to file a case with Technical Support but
    * there is no entry line for my (officially supported?) Leica Q
    * the site crashed
    * corrupted the screen
    * presented me with an invisible or non-existent case number
    * shows poor spelling in the then presented error screen
    Then I tried the suggested MyCases area which shows a corrupted display and no cases.
    Seems like a lot of stuff to get fixed.
