Size of watermark
Due to different picture sizes (use of different cameras and/or cropping) the watermarks have different size on the final developed photos. If there any possibility to have the watermark scaled as a certain percentage of the final outcome rather than absolute size? Especially for the web contact sheets it is very cumbersome to adjust the watermark depending on the original size of the picture. Would be great if somebody knows how to do this without doing it manually photo by photo. Please see here two examples for illustration what I mean. I agree with you, and we can say that the littlest is even too big. The scale is not enough downsized (sorry for poor English)

Hi,
if you use a text watermark you could use a smaller font size so you can create very small and discrete watermarks. You also can change font colour and together with the opacity slider you can make is as strong or discrete as you want.0 -

Hi,
for the generation of photos posted on the web (in reduced size, more compressed and with watermark) I have an specific output recipe which I called "smallJPG" and which carries settings like sRGB as output colour space, 1,800px on the long side, watermark...
So nothing has to be done on the photos themselves. It's only chosing the output recipe. Hope this helps0 -

OK of course, , but my watermark is a picture ( my numerised signature) , not a text with adaptable font. So remains the problem, when I reduce the size of my photography, it makes my watermark bigger..0 -
Lilo, please see Micheal11's comment. Should work for image watermark too. Resize watermark and set out put to a fixed value. 0 -
thank you for answer Paul, that's what I do, but watermark-picture becomes comparatively bigger on output-picture as scale of output becomes more little. is it perhaps due to the watermark format ( *.png) ? the watermark does'nt become more little .. 0 -
Hi guys,
Thanks for all your advise. I learned now that key property to determine the size of the watermark is the size of the output file, also for the generation of web contact sheets where the output size is anyway modified according to the settings you apply in that menue.
Helpful to know and easy to apply.0 -

Lilo, the watermark does not scale down with the (smaller) image. Maybe you can make a few .png files of different size and apply depending on output file size. Hope this helps. I don't think the .png file format is the culprit.0 -
yes, that what I made yesterday and it works..
thanks
anyway, I am very pleased with that soft ( C1 😎0
