Contrast In 8.3.4

Hi Everyone

I just switched from Capture 6 to Capture 8, was not into 7 at all.

I am shooting to a mac pro 10.9.5 and viewing on an Eizo FlexScan SX2262W

I am noticing that the contrast seems to be much more sensitive or much more intense.
In more general terms it is just not as smooth as it was in C1 6

I've tried shot both the P65+ as well as the IQ180 mounted on an RZ into both versions and have noticed the same thing.
I also the notice the difference when the files are processed as full res TIFFS and printed on an EPSON R3000

Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.

  FWIW it is said that C1P9 has a less sensitive or intense contrast. But you may be unwilling to take the plunge so early in the life of that project.
