FEATURE REQUEST - Select by Filename from contact sheet pics

I want to be able to use the 'select by filename list' with images selected by my client from the contact sheet. The problem is, even when selecting the 'ignore file extension', the filenames cannot be understood by C1 due to the multiple extensions created by the contact sheet -

e.g.... _10_1718699.NEF.p.jpg

To get round this I have to delete the last 2 decimal places

e.g..... _10_1718699.NEF

Obviously this is far from ideal and time consuming.

Could an option to rectify this like - 'ignore contact sheet file extension'?
