C1 Still not doing sensible Keystone crop
I cannot believe that C1 has still not done a proper keystone crop tool. I was thinking of upgrading to 7 but will not do so if the most basic improvements have not been made since 5.
Put simply Photoshop enables me to correct verticals and crop so that blank triangles of grass or pavement can be included in the final image area. These can then easily be filled in by cloning and I have a MUCH bigger picture area with MUCH more of the useful sides and top of an image still in the frame.
I made this suggestion years ago and sent screen grabs to show how useless C1's keystone tool was.
C1 also does the same thing with lens correction losing valuable information from the image edges which might be easily cloned sky.

Actually this feature has been around for some time now. Click the check box "crop outside image" in the corp tool and you can include the non-image areas. 0 -
Dear Jon
I didn't notice that. Is there a way of making it the default? Please?0 -
Once it is set on the Session/Catalog it will remain on in that Session/Catalog. 0 -

Not sure I understand you properly, Drew. I have regarded the Crop Outside Image checkbox as an image adjustment. It sticks to the image, not the session/catalog.
And yes, once set of an image it stays on with that image.0 -
It's a setting, just like any setting...
If you want it to apply to all images, apply it to all images by way of Copy/Apply. It shows up on the clipboard.0
