Imported images not showing in "Folder" view?
I imported images from an SD card and specified Folder "X" as the location to store the images in a Catalog, the images show up under "Recent Imports" in the Catalog Collections tree, but not under Folder "X" under the Folders tree, however, when revealed in the Finder, the images are indeed in Folder "X" in the OS' directory structure - presumably this is a bug?
My understanding of the Folders tree structure is:
Catalog tree - contains images imported into a Catalog and managed directly by Capture One, within the catalog you can create a virtual structure using Albums, Projects, Groups for images managed directly by Capture One
Local & Network Drive trees: this view mirrors the directory structure of "referenced" images imported into Capture One
User Collections: provide a way to create a virtual structure for any images within the Catalog whether managed directly or "referenced"
Is my understanding correct?

Hmmn ... even when I select "Show in Parent Folder" in the Catalog Collection, it opens the correct Folder, but no sign of the images! I ran a diagnostic check on the Catalog and it didn't turn up anything. Anyone have any ideas? 0 -
Make sure you dont have a filter on the folder. In the Library tool tab in the filter section make sure the three little star at the end of the search field arent yellow. Happened to me today made me crazy for a moment. 0 -

Thanks for the suggestion Rick, unfortunately I don't have a filter applied. I now have 2 sets of imports missing from their parent folder. I've raised a support case, so hopefully I can get to the bottom of it. I'm not ruling out user error yet though 😄0 -
you may have a filter on the tree type. 0
