Why cant top level folder reveal number of images?
if all of our images are in sub folders, and the "catalogue folders" nicely
show this in the Organize>catalogue folders pane, only the sub folders show
the number of images they contain, on the right side. Why cant the master folder,
the top level folder, show us the total number of images in that entire folder?
What is gained by keeping that away from us? I cant do that much math, that quickly, either.

Click on the icon to the right of "Catalog Folders" in the pane's title bar and select "Union of Folder Hierarchies". Behold, the maths is all done for you. Note though, that selecting a folder button beside the count will now show the contents of the folder AND all sub-folders.
Similar options are available for the "Catalog Sets", "Place Finder" and Date Finder" fields.0 -
yeah that makes sense, my bad. 0
