Why doesn't C1 remember crop tool settings?

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to make C1 Pro 7.2 to remember the crop tool settings. It always defaults to "Straighten" and I always use it in "Rotate freehand" mode and C1 defaults to Straighten each time.

  I played a bit with this issue. I noticed (and confirm) that the rotation tool defaults to Straighten, when you close and reopen the program with another tool selected.
  When the Straighten tool is selected when you close the program, it is selected again when you open it again, at least on my system.
  
  I also tried to save it in a workspace, but that did not help either.
