tool sliders not working in 8

dn loaded 8.......library works fine...rearanged tools ......that worked fine...NONE of the tool work. Image name shows up and everything seems to work just like 7, but tool sliders are totaly dead??? I changed no other settings.

  works fine with raws........never shoot jpgs, but loaded a test file to play with, that had been converted to jpgs.

  Maybe you run it as DB. See in Capture One menu, About.
  
  Or you run it as Pro and have set editing off for JPEG in Preferences.
