Changing Location of C1 Support Folder?
Hello,
The short version:
Basically, I would to keep all my libraries, and included and custom print, workspace, export profiles/recipes, and other settings with my working libraries/session.
Long winded version:
I am wondering if there is a way to change the location of the C1 "Application Support" folder. In the past with lightroom I was able to keep the libraries, and all the included, and custom print, workspace, export profiles/recipes, and other settings with my working libraries.
C1 always places these support file in the /user/library/application support/capture one folder. I work on several different macs in studio and on the road and would like to have all my settings duplicated without having to separately go to application support folder and copy these all over the place. I like to grab multiple session folders and run.
Is it hard/soft coded in a prefs file where the location of the application support floder resides, I would really like to change this, or have the ability in C1 preferences to change folder placement for libraries, and all the included, and custom print, workspace, export profiles/recipes, and other settings with my working libraries.
To me, this would really streamline the DAM process when working in various locations.

As far as I know, the location of the application support folder of CO6 is fixed. 0 -
Not sure if it will work, but you could try creating an Alias (symlink) for the Application Support -> Capture One folder.
Then - put the original folder on a file server or something similar.
Problems could arise from the base file path not being consistent across multiple copies of C1. Also - you would need to be sure your fileserver was mounted before launching C1.0
