Capture One and Memory
Is it still recommended that you use 4GB or less with Capture One on Mac.
Recently I keep getting random restarts when shooting tethered to my 2.8 octo Mac Pro.
Not sure if its caused by C1 but its always running on the machine when it restarts so have no idea if its this or not.
I get a log message about 'hi mem tramps' and an 0xff number that I have been told is something to do with 4GB of memory.
Any ideas?

2Gb issue when shooting with Phase One backs are long gone.
Just make sure you are up to date with Capture One and OS
But a issue has surfaced with Mac OS 10.5.6 and shooting with USB cameras.
Here is some guys that has done some testing

Thanks Ulf but its not the issue with the 10.5.6 capture limit issue. I seem to remember another member mentioning a possible memory leak or something when using C1 with more than X GB of memory in a recent C1 update and wondered if this still applied.
However I spoke to Applecare and they ran through the PRAM reset and unplugging everything from the machine stuff and I've had no crashes over the weekend. However I was only shooting a few motorcycle helmets so the machine was not used for a great length of time.
Fingers crossed it was a glitch that's now gone.0
