NO EXIF DATA SHOWING ON V3.7.1, DID HAVE ON OLD 1.2; HELP!
TOOK ME ALL NIGHT TO GET THE UPGRADE GOING. I'm sad the camera data on the \"CAPTURE\" tab is blank. I see a histogram only. Thanks for your help. Could you email me caroldwyer@charter.net Thanks!!

Do you mean the exif information? It can be find at the left side. You get the complete exif if you move with the mouse over the thumbnail.

EXIF data will in this version be found in a floating windows which you can bring up with quick command CTRL + i 0 -
okay, i meant camera shooting data, not exif file data.
there are 5 working tabs on the far right. The first tab, \"capture\" is all blank except for the histogram. I previously used ver 1.2 with my 1Ds & works great. Then I bought a canon 20d. Friday nite I downloaded ver 3.7.1. I left the old 1.2 on the computer, just for insurance. Is that bad? When I open the new 3.7, and look at the capture tab, the info under \"camera status\" is empty & greyed out. It is blank for shots made with 20D but also blank for old sittings made with the 1ds. Under \"workflow, color management settings\" it asks what camera are you using, and I said 20D. It looks like this setting changes itself automatically depending on what camera you are using? When I click on raw files made with 20D, and check the tab under \"color managment settings,\" the window reverts to Lightphase, and it will not stay on 20D.
I am going to read the directions on the 20d today. Maybe there is some driver software in the box?? If this is the solution, don't laugh at me please. thank you for your help. Nonteckie hysterical person, Carol Dwyer0 -
This is correct, there is no EXIF data (i.e camera data) under the capture tab, this is moved in to a floating window which you can bring up with CTRL + i.
The colour managment with revert to Lightphase if nothing is selected, if you choose a file, for example a 20D file, the camera product with change to 20D and 1Ds if you choose a 1Ds raw file.0 -

The capture tab shows all the camera shooting settings (meta data?).
My software for my new 20d camera has now been installed correctly, and still v3.7 still has a BLANK capture tab. Also, yesterday i shot pix with my 1ds set on color balance of 5050. In V3.7, the color balances were all over the lot, no two alike! It was wild. After 10 minutes the program shut itself down. I then opened my old v 1.2 and the files were shown correctly, all with color balances of 5050. And the capture tab works great. I need to reinstall this v3.7. Yes, it can be bad and create conflicts in the software... like having a Blank Capture tab.
You have a mess going and the best way to resolve all issues is to do a complete cleansing. Back-up RAW images and archive settings if you need them saved; and then Follow Knowledge Base article # 1665 for a complete Uninstall of the software. Then install v3.7

Ulf, thanks for the info above. I am sad to report that the new display is not as fast, easy to read as the old capture tab. I thought I had the pro version of this software! The tethered utilites would be a camera?

My old v1.8 stayed locked down on 5050, my custom balance for strobes. On new V3.7, it says \"custom\" in the window, but the color numbers are assorted, leaning blue. It acts like the camera was on auto. But the camera was set correctly on custom. We just made a new custom WB and 3.7 still acts same. I can see little previews on my card reader, showing pictures with great color. But when i open them in C1, they are blue.
The camera is on portrait 2. C1 is on sRGB.0
