Samsung NX Camera Support

Hi,

I have 2 samsung NX cameras that do not appear to be supported by Phase One.

Samsung NX1100 (this is the same camera as the NX1000 - which is supported but came with alternative software). I can get Capture One to process the raw files from this camera but only by editing the embedded camera exif info. I did raise a support call to try and get this camera supported in C1 V7 but it never materialised. I did download V8 on trial but it still wasn't supported.

Samsung NX3000. There is no published support for this camera from C1, but I note that the Samsung NX30 is now supported which uses same generation sensor and possibly raw processing engine. I don't mind trying a similar trick using an exif editor to see if the raw files from this camera could be made to appear as NX30, but my trial period for V8 has now expired and I'm not willing to shell out on V8 if it cannot process my Samsung RAW files.

If I post an exif edited version of one of the raw files from my NX3000, would someone be willing to see if they can process it in V8.

I know I can convert them to DNG, but the lens profiling and HDR functionality is really important to me if I am going to benefit from C1.
