Tether problems with long exposures

P65+, 645DF tethered to Max Pro, latest C1

Remote control capture works great until I get to shutter speeds >1 or 2 sec
C1 will shoot ok for awhile, then I get 'bus error' in the event display.
Camera will do a 'triple beep' when I try to capture remotely.
Requires shut camera down completely and restart C1

Note: this problem only occurs when I use long shutter speeds. Everything is find if I stick to 1/125 etc.

  Just wondering - how are you powering the back? if you switch it to battery only instead of auto detect is there a difference?

  Tried with and without battery. Didn't seem to make a difference.
  I didn't try changing the auto detect menu option...
  
  Think the long exposure is over drawing current on FW cable?
  Didn't have this problem in the past. Could it be OS 10 mavericks?
