Process Recipes

I recall another user had a similar issue reported here. The process recipes still existed on the disk (they are stored in the Application Support/Capture One sub folder) but CO6 did not show them.

Check the 'Show enabled' status: should be unchecked.

Thanks, but .... 'Show enabled' status is unchecked.
    No recipes in ApplicationSupport/CaptureONe sub-folder ????????

Any further ideas ....... do a full re-install????

Just to be sure the location of the recipes is:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Capture One/Recipes (~ is your home folder).

If they are not there (each recipe is an .xml file) than you have to create them again in CO6. No need to re-install the program; that will make zero difference.

Many thanks indeed. There are none at that location.
I do not understand how the recipes that were there on installation weeks ago could have got lost......maybe an update process??

Are there tutorials available on the making of recipes?

    Thanks for your assistance

The recipes were not there on installation; this the location for user created recipes. CO only creates one default recipe if none exist. If you created several recipes in the past, can you create them again now? I am not sure there is tutorial for that. I don't have CO here. Try the online help.

Thanks for your assistance in this matter.

I do want to say however that when I purchased CaptureOne there were quite a number of recipes that came with the package under the 'Process Recipes' tab. I would not have known anything about them at the time but they were there by default .... I am absolutely certain about that .......... all seems very strange indeed. Wonder if PhaseOne can add to this for me??

    Thanks again.

    Hi Bernard,

I am behind another computer now (with Capture One). On the Process Recipe tool (with the Basic, Advanced and Watermark tabs) there is a question mark (?) in the title. If you click on it, you get the online help about this topic.

See if this helps you and let us know if you have any questions.

I believe you that you had several recipes on install. Please believe me that such is new for me. 😉

Ah fine .... I have read all of what you say.

I will make my own recipes soon but it is quite annoying when one is certain...(I know indeed that you believe me) .... that they were there by default.

My son has the same software and he has all the recipes I speak of ....... mystery, mystery indeed. I will send a note to PhaseOne Support and see if they know anything about this.

Thanks anyway for your time and assistance. If I get a satisfactory reply I will insert here.

If you son has the recipes you can copy them from his to your folder (from/to the folder we discussed earlier).

Sometimes information gets missing (in action). I believe that as a computer user we have the obligation to make backups...
    But YMMV of course.

    Grand Finale !!!!
Well what do you know ..... I had backed up the recipes and there they are all ready to be copied over as you suggested.
Great ..... all in place again.

Took me time to cop this one but many thanks to you again.
