Which version CO pro for Snow Leopard
Hi All
we are running 12 licenses of Capture One Pro version 6.3.3 on macs with Snow Leopard. We have about 6 Canon 5dmk2s and 3 Nikon D3/D3s.
We are looking to purchase either some Canon 5d Mk3 or Nikon D800s and tethered shooting is an absolute necessity. Please could someone advise as to which version CO they think is most the stable with Snow Leopard that supports the newer cameras.
many thanks
Philip

From CO Pro 6.4.3 onwards, you have support for both the Canon 5D mkIII as the Nikon D800 (raw file and tethering). However, you should test these versions with Canon cameras for disconnect after sleep mode of the camera, which is a reported issue of 6.4.3 and 6.4.4.
Unless there is an update after 6.4.4 which solves the disconnect, you might want to have some computers running 6.4.2 for your current (Canon) cameras. Note that raw file support for the 5D mkIII and D800 already exists in 6.4.2 (but no tethering).
In either way, test before you update with your 5D mkII cameras with either 6.4.2 (safe bet) and 6.4.4 (riskier). Until you're happy with 6.4.4 or later, you should reconsider the timing of your new camera purchase.

Well we upgraded the macs today and everyone had the disconnection after sleep issue. We have changed the sleep length of all the cameras as a temporary measure. We will then decide whether to go back to 6.4.2 after we have tested the 5dmk3 and d800.
It's all a bit frustrating. The problem we have is that we are running 8 studios with different photographers depending on job requirements.
