Second Build?
Installing Capture One Pro from Express - I recently upgraded from Express to Pro and for some reason I am stuck with the program being called Capture One 2 - when i get info it says it is a second build - I did have trouble getting it to install could this be the problem? - does this set me any limits if I want to install it on my laptop?

When you install Capture One 7, and an app with the same name ("Capture One") is already on your disk, OS X gives you the the option to Replace or Keep Both. When you select Keep Both, it will be installed as "Capture One 2".
Unless you have a special reason to do this, it is not a recommended workflow.
If you like to clean this up, I can give you some suggestions if you please. Note that activation is connected to the application name (in case you plan on renaming).0 -
I would like to clean it up., but I must say that I did not tell it to keep both as I was replacing (I thought) the express version. I just have done something wrong somewhere,

Some how-to tips on how to clean up your double setup.
Before you proceed, make sure you have your Pro license key and Phase One account on hand.
In short, delete the 'Capture One 2' program from the Applications folder. As it might be activated, you could launch it first from the Applications folder and deactivate from the Capture One menu to free up an activation.
Next, start the remaining 'Capture One' program from the Applications folder. Check activation: is it Express or Pro?
If Express, deactivate as described and activate as Pro. If Pro, all is OK. If in trial mode, activate as Pro.
Next, check your version. Is it current (7.2.2)? If not update it to the latest version.
I understand you like to install CO Pro 7 on a laptop. After you have installed it, you can activate it. You have 2 activations on your license. You can check your activations from the Phase One site as described here:
