Activation Purgatory: Product Key is Incomplete message
I have just upgraded from 3.6 to 3.7 for Windows C1 LE.
At startup, I am given the choice to activate. I click activate (not thinking I had to, since this was a free upgrade). I get a dialog box \"A license key is connected\". I click OK. The License Activation dialog then comes up, with two of the four Product Key boxes filled in, the but second two are \"####\". And the message below it is \"please keep typing, the key is incomplete\".
What is that telling me? Do I need to reactivate?
When I click HELP and Show License Info, I'm told I have 5 remaining updates (I would have expected four, since this was one).
I operate C1 LE on three machines (never simultaneously; I have one for home, and two travel laptops depending on my travel weight limits).
On one of the laptops, the Product Key that is partial is different from the Product Key that is partial on the home machine.
Is this the right support forum to get an answer to this, or do I need to look elsewhere?

sack,
The 3.6 to 3.7 upgrade is a Free, so you retain all your upgrades.
Each machine installed has to be Activated. You need your Product Key to do so. Product Key is a 4x4 alpha numeric code and came with your original purchase. Product Key entered in software gives a Registration Key, and that is sent to Phase One for an Activation Key specific to that machine.
See Knowledge Base article # 1732 for Activation Instructions.

Best avenue for Support is to Create a Support Case at:

The License policy has always been One User on 2 machines. Because of abuse in the past, Phase One is monitoring Activations more stringently. Two activations are allowed.
Sincerely,
