CRW files not visible
I have Capture One 5 (basic) purchased and downloaded from the web in July. It will not recognise many of my CRW files from an older camera, the 300D. Anyone else having this problem. As I read it when I purchased it (admittedly mainly for my files from the H2=P20) I should be able to see these files and edit them.
It just tells me there are no files in that folder - very frustrating when there are up to 200 files in some of the folders.
It also freezes frequently, I have to Force Quit and restart at least twice a sessions. This may be to do with the system, 24"iMac with 4Gb RAM (the maximum).
I tried to go through PhaseOne's support site but it would not upload my question.

From your post and another post I understand that you have problems opening both Canon 300D CRW files as well as Panasonic <type unknow> RW2 files. For a list of files supported you can open the release notes for the version of CO5 you have installed from the Help menu. The 300D should not be a problem.
I seems that something in your CO5 setup is screwed. I suggest to quit CO5, next remove the Capture One.col50 session file, the user preference file and the CaptureOne sub folder in your image folder. For details see article below on uninstalling CO4 or 5:
http://www.phaseone.com/en/search/artic ... nguageid=1
Next, start CO5 again.
I assume your images are on your local hard drive.0
