Processing multiple images
I use a P45 on a G5 mac with the latest version of C1.
When I tag selected images then select all tagged and hit process, it only processes the one I am looking at. I can never get it to process all of them unless I individually unselect then select each image.
How can I fix this?

have you checked the enable queue box in the batch tool? 0 -
Yes the enable queue box is checked. It will sometimes batch all of them when I manually select all the images, or when I am not previewing any image but have them selected. 0 -

It's a known bug and it has been around for years!
As a workaround, press Command + D and it should work, at least it works on the Pro version of Capture One.0 -

If you could provide feedback on Phase web site it would be great! Don't use the "Provide Feedback" menu item in Capture One as the referenced page no longer exists!

This works as intended.
Be sure the Thumbnail display is Active.

Really? thats annnoying.
Should really be an option you can turn on or off. When there are a lot of images and you tag the images you want, it is hard to go to each image and select them individually.
If the intention is to stop processing large batches of images by mistake, then why not have a spot processing button?0 -

No need to go to each image if they have been tagged.
If you select the Thumbnails first and then select a Destination, and then hit Process, only the 1st image goes. This is because the Thumbnails pane is not active.
Workflow:
> Tag desired images
> Process tool > Set Destination
> dropdown Image > Tagging > Select All Tagged
> click Process
> Entire Batch of selected tags moves to Batch Queue and processes.

Maybe I don't know what the thumbnail panel is?
Do you just mean the column of thumbnails from the images I shot? They are there. I tag the images I then go to select all tagged then go to process and only the first one processes.

Processing multiple files works perfectly... every times...
when you select the files to process, you clic on the thumbnail and it turns blue...
set your destination (tiff / jpeg) the select the files (making sure that the thumbnail is blue) then hit process or (apple + d)

If I was stuck like you seems to be and with no efficient support, it would be now that I would backup my stuff and perform a clean install (format) of OS X then all the updates then C1Pro and test the "official" workflow for multiple file processing..

As Keith said before make sure the tagged- selected images are active and highlighted -by using select all tagged ( on my mac- the thumbnail turns grey to blue)
Now, watch the scenario- on the bottom right corner, it should report for ex: 1-3 files being processed. Along with yellow gears displayed on the thumbnails indicating that the files are going to be processed.
If this is not the case Will, create a support case and provide a screenshot of your selected images along with the full screen of the process tab. Support is here !

I will start a support case. None of my previews ever turn blue. When I have something selected it turns grey. When I go to select all tagged, all my tagged images will turn grey. Then when I hit process, only the first processes.
I have heard I should have the preview window active. I don't know what that means, how do I activate the preview window?
The only way I can get multiple images to process is to select each one individually, then hit process.0 -

The color of the selected Thumbnail is acutally a Preference setting and can be set to whatever you want.
Capture One PRO > Preferences > Thumbnails > Appearance > Open Appearance button
Now select the color you want.
The point here is, to be sure you select all your Thumbnails last so the are actively highlighted. Then when you hit the Process button, they all will arrive in the Batch Queue for processing.
If you are following the correct steps and your program is failing, you should set the program back to default settings. All Session will have to be added again.
Try:
Close Capture One
Remove the file called com.phaseone.application.captureonedslr.plist located at ~/Library/Preferences. [~ means your home folder]
Restart Capture One.
If this fails, the a complete Uninstall and Clean Reinstall of the most current version should be done.

If I follow the kbase article and make sure the thmbnail preview column is active, it works fine. If the column is not active, then only the displayed image is processed.... So it's definitely not a bug. My apologies, I should have browsed the knowledge base!

Set the color to be Green
Select All Thumbnails and they are Green
Now if you go to another tool to work, like the Process Tool AFTER you have selected the Thumbnails....
they can become deselected and are grayed
This which means they are Not Selected and the Thumbnail Pane is Not Active.
If you hit Process button now, only the image that is displayed in the Preview area will arrive at the Batch Queue.
Workflow______________________
1 - Go to Process Tool
2 - Select a Process Destination
3 - Select All Thumbnails to process
4 - Hit Process Button
5 - Go to Batch Tool and all selected images arrive in the queue

Hey,
I just tried using the process tagged only feature of C One Pro, and it worked great for me too. I just did it after I read your dilemma...I don't see what you could be doing wrong. It is pretty straight forward and easy! I already have a destination selected, Quick Proof jpg's and have a folder selected for processed images. It is the default folder after creating a session. I selected the images I want to process by tagging them: command +T and then I used the select only tagged images command, and then I clicked on the process button at the top of the window, that looks like a cog and they, the tagged images, were sent to the queue. I will try to post a picture of it if I could. Cool! success at posting the pictures. Now if you look closely, the tagged images are highlighted in red and the tags are indicated by a green symbol with a check mark in the tag on the bottom right hand side of the thumbnail. The gear symbol or cog in yellow, indicates images awaiting processing. The other picture shows the images in the queue being processed and the rest awaiting processing. Hope this helps.
