Customize Viewer labels?
I'm currently evaluating C1v7 and am comparing the workflow to both aperture and Lightroom. I'm a long time C1 user, from the days of v3 but while I have version 6 I have stopped using it in favor of Aperture, thus far. The catalogues feature of v7 has me excited and that is why I am evaluating the release.
The software, so far is running very nicely and has the typical very impressive Capture One output and the speed is far bette than Aperture's. I have to re-learn a lot of ways of course and two small aspects have been bedeviling me. I'm probably overlooking something simple but rather than waste more time I thought I'd ask here.
First ... how do I set up the viewer labels (under the photo) to custom fields of my choosing? It is easy to do in the other two programs but somehow I can't seem to figure it out with C1.
Secondly, in the metadata tab ... how on earth can I made most of that stuff go away. I only want to see about twenty fields and while that should be wasy it is the other thing that I can't seem to do. I've tried to make custom presets but that is apparently for a different purpose and the manage field is greyed out. Thanks in advance for any help - I know these are minor issues but it really irritates me, especially the viewer labels.

I'm running the software on a Macbook retina 15 with 16 gigs of ram, if that makes any difference - and it runs very nicely indeed! Marvelous IQ ... some very nice features, but a few rough edges in the interface. Any chance we could go back to the white look of yesteryear? 😊

It's been a year. Did you find the solution to showing more viewer labels, or changing viewer labels in Capture One Pro 7?
April 5 2014. No Answer. The reason is that there is no better photo cataloging software than Media Pro. Not CO7, not anything.
May 2014 There has been an UPDATE for MEDIA PRO! (April 2014) Now it works even better on Mac OS X 10.92.0
