Any other Kodak MFDB/DSLR users want C1 support?
C1 is on a "Crazy Summer Offer" sale right now with "MS Expression Media 2 for FREE!"
I would buy it *IF* C1 supported my Kodak DCS 645M digital back. Alas, no!
So I am trying to gauge if there are enough interested Kodak digital camera/back users out there to get Kodak DCR raw format supported in C1. I find it strange that some very low volume lines of cameras/backs are supported by C1, whereas the daddy of them all (pre-2005), Kodak, is not at all. Nada, zilch. But if ebay turnover of DCS 645M/C/H/Pro, SLR/C, SLR/n, Pro-14, DCS 5-series, 6-series and 7-series is anything to go by, there are still lots of Kodak raw shooters out there...just because the cameras are no longer made, that doesn't mean the user-base (translation: additional available C1 market) is not considerably large.
Consider this an official "feature request"...

Your best bet is to contact Kodak with as many requests as you can.
Since Capture One / Phase One is a open system we have no problems supporting other files as long as the owners of those formats are OK with it. In most cases, we need permission to support files/cameras and without it we can't move forward. If you create a support case with a feature request we can log everything on our end and move forward from there.0 -

Nope: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=62630 -
Ah, I see. I explained the situation to someone who supports C1, but I didn't use triplicate form BUR-SUP-FC29A. 😉
Meanwhile, Drew is going around with his eyes closed and his hands covering his ears, murmuring "I didn't hear what you just said, and I didn't read what you just wrote!" over and over. I'd better go create an official support request, to let him get on with his life. 😊
I know, I know, he didn't invent the system. And I should be grateful for any help I get.0 -
Does Capture One support .dcr files from a Kodak SLR/n? Several Commercial or freeware software packages can support the Kodak DCS series. 0 -

Short answer is no (and that includes CO Pro 😎. But if I recall correctly, you should quite successfully travel the route of converting to DNG and continue in Capture One.0
