My MacBook and iMac are calibrated with an xrite iOne and I don't see any change when starting CO.

    Same as the Badger.
I'm hardware calibrated and see no change.

Test yourself. Set the display background to a solid color mid grey. Make a screenshot (shift+cmd+3). Start CO8, run it in a window, not full screen. Make second screenshot. Compare the grey in the screenshots. Let us know what you see or post the screenshots.

On newer MBP's, the graphics card is switched between integrated (better battery life) and dedicated (better performance) automatically, depending on the app's demand. Programs like PS and CO make it switch to 'dedicated'.

You can see the assigned profile in 'System Preferences' - 'Displays' - 'Color'. Is it the same profile for both graphics card? If not, assign the correct profile manually.

I never saw, nor see, my MBP using different profiles for the graphics cards, but who knows? Maybe the display was calibrated with the integrated graphics card active and didn't assign it to both configurations?

My display is profiled with an x-rite. No trouble found.

    Regards,
    Hans
