Feature request regarding web contact sheets.
I do a lot of work for magazines, and after a shoot will make a web contact sheet for the client to review.
There doesn't seem to be a way for clients to download the low-res gallery images to use in their mockups - which is a very common practice.
If they could just right click an image in the gallery to download it, it would save me tons of work.
As it stands now, I have to generate the web contact sheet, and then do a complete low-res jpeg run, which I subsequently compress into a folder, and upload to my server so that the client has access to low-res files to use in the mockups.
Perhaps I am missing something obvious? I'd love to have the option to allow my clients to download images directly from the web contact sheet.

I have the same problem and it is such an obvious shortcoming in what would otherwise be an excellent feature. I have brought it to the attention of PhaseOne in the past, but I don't think they understood why that feature would be useful.
The solution that I use is to rewrite the code. The web contact sheet is written in JavaScript, using Slimbox2, and making a few changes to the scripts and the css files can achieve the result that you're looking for, or at least something close. It would be nice if PhaseOne were to make the modifications. However, what I do is just replace a couple of the files each time with my modified files. It's a little clumsy, but not a big deal. And it makes it so much easier for my clients.
I second the feature request. This is a really necessary feature that should be addressed.

I udrstand your concern, but if you look at it on another side, it prevent photos to be easily stolen by click and drag…
It is helpful when you post publicly your contact sheet.
Hen it should be nice if your requested feature would be an option…0 -
I'm not on my Mac right now but if you make the charges to the pages that are stored inside the app then I'm sure it builds all you galleries the same way.
I looked at this ages ago but never got too far.0 -
Hi Rap
I used to edit the files stored into the app for other purpose, so I guess it is possible to edit for the purpose described here.
However you better save a copy of these files out of the app as they won't be included within updates…0 -
