    Ben,
Search for "scrambled" in the forum search bar. You might find your answer.

Yes same thing we thought we might have a bad graphics card but only happens when using C1 Pro so it must be the program

Again, I would suggest searching the Forum for that key word to find what others have posted.
The error described simply sounds as if your Video Card is not compatible with Capture One's Graphic Acceleration feature, turning "OpenCL" to "Never" in the preferences should solve the issue.

I just installed CO6 (v6.1.1) for the first time two days ago and I have since experienced a similar issue with my machine that I've never seen before.

On my primary and secondary monitors (both running on a single NVIDIA GeForce GT 120) all of the graphics became scrambled (menu bar, dock, other apps, etc...). CO was not even running in the foreground at the moment. Every time I tried to click on a window or access the dock or menu bar, the scrambling become more intense. I blindly used the "command+tab" function to cycle through my open applications and quit out of them. After quitting CO, the scrambling ceased. I restarted and everything has been fine since then. I didn't think much of it until I saw this thread which has me wondering two things:

1st - After a quick scan of the topics that came up after searching for "scrambled" in the forums, it seems that most of them refer to scrambling within the preview window, not necessarily the entire screen. Is my experience unlike the subject of these threads?

2nd - Is there a list of video cards that are now considered either compatible or in-compatible with CO6?

    Thanks,
    Brion

    System Info:

    Quad-Core Intel Xeon 2.66 MacPro
    12GB of RAM
2 NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 - three monitors
    Mac OS X 10.6.7

I'm seeing scrambled graphics on a late 2010 MacBookPro with Nvidia GeForce GT 330M (but not on a 2011 MacPro with ATI Radeon 5870).

Where in C1 Preferences can Open CL be disabled? I can't find it.

    Thanks,

    Dave.

You can find the OpenCL setting on the General tab of the Preferences.
