    Hello

The program is optimized for Mac Book PRO 1440x900
It is a hard balance and very few is today using a resolution lower then 1280x1024 on 4x3 and 1680x1050 on wide screen

Hopefully we can adjust this in a upcoming release if there is a lot of customers requesting this.

I've been working with many other Pro photographers in 2007 and many of them uses MacBooks, for tethered shooting on location. It's small and light for the assistant to carry around...
And an other point, is that the version available now, is the "LE"... so many, non-pro user will be able to afford the software too 😊 That's just a hope for you guys anyways 😊
It's great software, and in my oppinion, it would be a waste of potential customers, not to make a small feature, as I think this would be 😊

It's better to please the customers by figuring out small things like this, before they themselves have to complain about it.. 😊
Note that my post is not meant as a complaint!! 😊 I love the software from Phase One, but on the road it's not easy to carry around my 24" iMac 😄

Happy, to know that a company from my homecountry makes such great products!!

When I'm on the road I use a Powerbook G4 with 1280 x 854 pixels display resolution. The exposure panel doesn't fit fully on the screen with this resolution too. So I am at least number two requesting the feature of collapsing tool panels... 😉

And I fully agree with Jacob: The MacBook is a great choice for traveling photographers. If i had to replace my Powerbook now, I would definitely buy a MacBook instead of a MacBook Pro. It would be nice if Capture One 4 would be usable without any limitations on a 1280 x 800 screen resolution.

    Regards,

    Maren

+1 I was also disappointed by the curve panel, searching for a collapsing tool.

I'm using a macbook too, I usually use a second display to photo edit at the office but when I'm on travel I need to be only on the tiny screen.

hiding the toolbar is an issue but there is not shortcut anyway to hide it quickly.... boring to use the mouse and hide it manually to be able to use the curve tool

I'd like to chime in as well to say that this is a disappointment for me. The Max resolution I can achieve on the laptop is 1024x768. I' have no access to curves.
