Can't capture from the computer with P25 back on Contax 645

I just started using a P25 back with a Contax 645, shooting tethered into a macbook pro and a G5 tower. Capture One Pro will not allow me to capture from either computer, I need to fire from the camera. Neither can I "import from camera" if I shoot to a card, I need to put the CF into a card reader.Is this a camera issue, a back issue, or a software issue?

For several years, I have been shooting tethered with a Nikon D2X while running Nikon Camera Control, and I could access all the camera functions remotely. It's great to no longer need the Nikon software, but would like to be able to shoot from the keyboard when the need arises.

  To fire from the computer the Contax requires an additional motor cable. We have a KB article that explains what is needed on different camera bodies for host capture: http://www.phaseone.com/KBFiles/2241/1/ ... tion1.html. Host capture is dependent on the camera bodies interface to the shutter release and even though the contax has electronic interface that can send sync info to the back, it is not able to trigger the shutter.
  
  As far as downloading the images from the back, the firewire and cf card are independent storage options in the internal setup of the back and the firewire board circuitry is not designed to read from the card.
