Unable to import ICC profile - what am I doing wrong?
I downloaded the ICC profile for my local Costco printing service and copied the file to :
C:\Users\power\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Color Profiles
The files are "Costco-CA-SanJose-Almdn-Gls.icc" and "Costco-CA-SanJose-Almdn-Lus.icc"
In the Base Characteristics tool I select "Import" in the "ICC Profile" pulldown menu. C1 v12 gives me the following error.
"No profiles were imported"
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

I would guess that the Costco files are not Camera related profiles which is what the Base Characteristics tool is looking for.

The Costco profiles are printer profiles that you use for soft proofing in the recipe tab. Just put them in the relevant windows folder and they will show up in the icc profile selection in the recipe tab.
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

Got it! I thought soft proofing was done in the Base Characteristics. Now I see it in the recipes.
Thanks! 😊0 -
