Are C1Pro 8.3 and 8.2.2. compatible ? Where are my stars??

I will soon shoot a job in 8.3 but the postproduction team my client has, still uses 8.2.2.
Can they open my 8.3 session with their computers running 8.2.2? Will they see my settings (color temp. contrast, etc) as well as the stars/ colors used for editing ?
I beliebe 8.1 would NOT read settings from 8.2 or vice versa ....
on a different subject:
In 8.2.2 the processed jpegs will carryover the star ranking system into Bridge. With 8.3 NO stars are visible in bridge! This is a huge problem!

  The star rating problem is a bug in 8.3. I was advised to downgrade to 8.2 while they fix it.
