Win 7 64 Bit Focus hanging

I'm having an issue with my Win7x64 COPro x64 since recently installing.

Tried OpenCL in both auto and disabled and there is no difference. Using it as straight RAW editor. I keep getting the "focusing viewer...." wheel and the software locks up and must be terminated. It will work for a while, usually enough to get 10 pictures or so processed, then it just hangs and won't respond to mouse or keyboard input.

Edited to add: It seems to happen immediately after using the crop tool in most cases.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

  I have a similar system, and when CO hangs, it generally hangs on the focusing. It has been doing it for all versions of v6.
  However, I can generally get a lot of photos processed, and I have not been able to correlate it with any action. I can go days with it being fine, then a hang. I was (am) blaming it on memory leaks.

  Horning in from the Mac forum-
  I'm having the same problem with 64 bit C1P - hanging on previous crop or focus when opening folder.
  First support case suggestion was reinstall - did that. Same problem.
  Second support case suggestion was disable Open CL - did that. Same problem.
  
  Turns out that any release after 6.3.3 has trouble with earlier folder level cache and settings files. My opinion only. Delete these, (and all your work) and the program writes a new settings file which works fine. Not a very good solution.

  I don't think that this explains my problems. I have had focus hangs on new batches of photos unseen or processed by earlier versions.

  I'm having the issue on new and old files and the behavior tends to come and go. Some times I can go 1/2 hour working on files then suddenly it will hang. Once it has hung for the first time it will do it almost immediately in successive sessions.
  
  If I catch it focus hanging within the first 20 seconds or so I can close the application and restart. If I let it sit for more than 30 seconds it locks up solid and I need to terminate the process. I've never seen such strange behavior before.
  
  I have a case open, but I'm only moving files around on drives and deleting proxies so far. I've checked permissions and they're ok....Hoping my case works out.
  
  Edit: I can "usually", not always, trigger it by dragging my crop tool very quickly across the screen. It seems to be motion triggered somehow. It is usually more stable the more carefully I move the crop selection cursor across the screen.
