You can't post an image to the forum, you'll have to use a web hosting service.

    Then display it using the

    [img]path to image[/img]
    tags.

Neither of these replies is really answering my question. The first says no, but what does "use a web hosting service" mean?
For the second message, if I post a path to some other location (?) why would I need to tag the path to that location?
I've got an issue that is difficult to explain, but posting an image would illustrate it much better than trying to describe it.
If I can't post an image, maybe I need to go somewhere else, like Luminous Landscape?

It means uploading your picture to a dedicated web hosting service, then using the img tags to include it in your message.

E.g. here in France people often use cjoint.com. If you upload your picture to this service, then you can include it in your message by using its URL : [img]http://cjoint.com/<URL>.jpg[/img]
