Catalog & offline files

Hi,

with C1 is possible to work with managed (files in Catalog) or referenced (files not in catalog). Its fine because all my files are on external drive or NAS.
Sometime I have my MacBoop pro and I want to select the images and perform initial processing steps but the images are of-line. But all off-line images are not sharp

Here a small screenshot. The same Image without any processing steps - online and off-line version.

What is wrong here?

  The Offline is only the cached preview.
  No default adjustments (sharpening, Lens Correction, noise reduction, etc). If you Preview is small, then it will appear soft.

  Thank you Drew for your fast response.
  But what do you mean with "small Preview"? My setting is - Preview 2560 px (its resolution from my primary working screen 2560x1400) and Screenresolution on my MBP 17" is a lot smaller (1920x1200)

  CO7 is really not the best choice for off line editing.
  It's more of a good RAW converter and processor.
  Does not have the 'swiss army knife" nature of other option out there.
  For really broad off line and remote as well as mobile editing Lightroom is progressing in leaps and bounds.
  SmartRAW and Lightroom mobil with the cloud is pretty hard to beat.
  
  That said with CO7 do what you can offline and then do your sharpening when you get back on line.
