Local adjustment - artifacts
I quit useing the local adj tool , mostly for correcting local exposure because I keep experiencing ugly and unacceptable artifacts produced by C1, see image attached:
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Hard to comment - what are we looking at? 0 -
This is what C1 shows after applying a slight local exposure adj tool, those weird round shapes close at the border of the "red" effecting adjustments area. 0 -
I saw something like that with automatic mask 0 -
Try turning off the OpenCL for both display and cpu. 0 -
Thank you Eddie!!!
that was the solution. But now the question is... what would be the adv with Open GL?0 -

OpenCL
Not Open GL.
The advantage is that in many situations a lot of the processing can be run through the Graphics Processor rather than the Main CPU and so processing can be faster - if the available GPU offers any performance gain.
The disadvantage is that if the GPU and its drivers are not entirely performing as expected you may get some unwelcome results.
If the performance speed difference is important to you it may be worth checking if there is a better driver available for your graphics card. That may mean an update OR a downdate. New drivers are not always better.
Sometimes precise diagnosis can be difficult in these situations.
