Help! Import Button, File-Import freezes C4.5

Each time I insert CF card for import, it shows up in the Library, but does not launch import dialogue and immediately freezes and grays out options. Must force quit and restart.
Also freezes and grays out when Import button is pressed and also going to File-Import.

Shooting tethered with Phase P25 is awkward without being able to set default settings quickly and simply.

Also found out Library disappears when in 2 monitor mode only. Switching back to default makes it appear again. Found out the hard way after having to reinstall about 6 times.

Comparing images side by side in viewer are totally different... one appears clear and sharp and the other soft.

No preferences to set default ICC profiles, capture naming and numbering as in C1 3.x

If Phase One thinks this program is ready for real world shooting and editing, they are sadly mistaken. This is worse than any Beta I've experienced. I would not trust shooting into this program until major bug fixes and improvements are made.

I've read the entire 4.5 manual from top to bottom, and there are so many inconsistencies... so many features don't work as explained, or are not even visable in the first place.

Overall, a disappointing and premature release geared toward amateurs and weekend warriors... true pros don't need half the junk you clogged into this slow, overweight pig.

Count me out, I'm sticking with the vastly superior C1 3.7 even if the final processed tiffs are slightly inferior.
