C1 6.2: Program does not recognize Tiff or Jpg
I processed an image in PS CS5 and saved it out as a Tiff w/ and w/out layers and then wanted to look at in C1 6.2 to create a contact sheet of the image. However, C1 does not recognize the image nor will allow me to import it. Subsequently I saved the file out of PS as a flattened 8 bit Jpg and C1 still would not see nor allow to import.

Yes, that was already enabled. These files were saved out from PS, not C1, does that matter?0 -

Thanks for the help. That was not the problem, my images have a background layer. However it led me to the answer in a round about way. The images are there now, so either I missed them earlier or the system had to update and show them. Could have been a screen refresh issue that I missed.. cannot remember exactly.
Something I encountered though, in the library window I have located the tif adn jpg files, the jpg file is okay but the tif file has an exclamation mark over it and cannot be opened. ???????

OK, the tiffs have a background layer. But do they have additional layers as well? CO6 does not like that (sorry if that has been covered here already; better safe than sorry). 0 -

Thanks. No I was not sure of that, layers, that is. I flattened the file but still getting the "exclamation point" in the triangle over the image in the browser.0
