It appears to be a corruption in the particular session. I placed the file in another session and it worked fine. How do I correct the session that is having this trouble?

Delete the session file (*.col50) and create a new session with the same name in the same location, just as you did when you created the session initially. No created data or files in that session will be overwritten by this procedure. You only loose session information like session favorites, albums and smart albums.

    Paul,
Thanks for jumping in here. I am not having any success with this.
If I delete just the session file, (I actually rename it), and then create a new session in the same location C1 creates a new folder underneath the existing one.
If I delete the folder, (I actually rename it), and then create the session w/ the same name and w/ the same session name the session contains no files when I open it in C1.
    Any ideas?

BTW: I have all the original files- so I can rename everything and put it back and am able to open and see and work on these images. So at least we have a starting point to try again.

Creating in the same location means that you select the PARENT folder of your session, like you did in the first place. For example, when you create the session TODAY in the Pictures folder, and you like to create it again, select the Pictures folder, not the TODAY folder.

If I understand you correctly, then this would require deleting the entire folder not just the .col50 file, correct?

No, just delete the .col50 file. Existing folders are not affected. Test with a redundant session if you like.

Ok... I at least got as far as creating the session file and it landed in the correct folder, but it still does not display any images. There are no images to display and no images in collection.
I am wondering if I need to drag these images in here again.

You can either open the folder with images from the Library tool, or move images to a session folder, or you make the image folder a session favorite so you can find it quickly.
Basically, you restored the situation as it was before with a new fresh session file. Up to you.
