Import counter on 12.0.2 doesn't increment

Since installing 12.0.2, I have found on both my Macs that when I import images into a session, the counter doesn't go up. So although the progress bar moves across and the images are imported, it still says "1 of 35 images imported" instead of "1 of 35 images...", then "2 of 35 images..." etc.

Just me?
