Pencil icon, can't manipulate files
Hope anyone can help. I have sent a batch of files (nikon NEF) from Media Pro to C1. I've done editing on them and even created a process recipe.
But now, after reviewing the output files, when i go back to C1 from Media Pro, the files have a small pencil in the right bottom corner of the thumbnails. I cannot edit them anymore.
I've searched the forum and found some cases, but they were related to authorizations. That doesn't seem the case for me, nothing changed. Not even an OSX update.
Thanks

What does the Info button in the Library say about permissions of these files? 0 -
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply. Quite honestly, i have no clue what the info panel is. Do you mean the meta data panel? I don't see anything there.
What bothers me even more than the fact i can't edit my files, is that seemingly there is nothing in the documentation describing this. I may have overlooked it, in that case i would very happily stand corrected.
Thanks again.0 -
Info button: Library tool, bottom left. Look for Permissions. This should give you the first clue of what's going on. 0 -
Thanks. I've found it.
It doesn't say anything about permissions, though. Just album name and location.
Would you happen to know what the little crossed out pencil means on the thumbs? I am not able to find it anywhere in the documentation.
Thanks again.0 -
Hi, select the folder instead of the album and again look into the Info dialog.
The pencil marking in the thumbnail means you have no write permissions to the file or folder.0
