eos 6d wifi tethered
We just added a 6d at the studio. I've activated the wifi and I'm using the eos utility to capture. I make the capture folder a favorite. When I get the image I want, I rename all images to the session name plus a counter, process the good image and move it to the select folder and move the rest to the trash. I guess since the capture is being managed outside of C1P there's not much to be done about auto naming and carrying adjustments forward to the next capture. Have people come up with workflow hacks to mitigate some of the inconvenience? Is there a thread somewhere on this? I looked but couldn't find one. Finally is there any hope that wifi for this camera will be integrated into C1P's software?

First, Canon must make this available in the Software Development Kit it provides to 3rd party developers like Phase One. I have no insight whether this is the case. Next, if yes, it is up to Phase One to implement the feature.
In case you would like to know, you can ask Phase One in a support case.0 -
I am guessing the wifi tethering ability to C1 has as much chance of being implemented as does 1DX via Lan cable - none. Much discussion about this but unless millions of people are emailing Canon they wouldn't go out of the way to help PhaseOne with this. 0
