    Hello,
I usually use AirDrop to transfer the images direct from iPhone to my MacBook. Works very fast and you can select/transfer a complete album or moment at once.
Next I start up Capture One and import/process these images.
    Regards,
    Michel

I use Dropbox to sync photos between iPad and laptop. But it is a mess and not the greatest workflow.
Should also be possible to use iCloud but I never felt motivated enough to set it all up.

I haven't been able to use Airdrop from my iPhone 6s to my iMac although it is very nearby and connected by both WiFi and Bluetooth. I open Airdrop on my iMac but no joy. So I USB connect and use Image Capture (part of the Mac OS). I only use CO9 for processing RAW images and I use ON1 Photo 10 for editing JPEGs.

    Thanks for the replies -
I put in a request for a new feature to the support team.
It just makes sense to offer a direct import like in Aperture ( here I go again about Aperture) since mobile device cameras are already such a part of our life and the image quality is getting better all the time.
