6.0.1 processing times
Hi,
I'm on a 2009 Imac 24" 3.06 ghz using 6.0.1 pro, trial version, with OpenCL set to "Never". I'm processing 2000 CR2 images from a 5D Mark II with 1 Tiff and 1 Jpeg recipe active. This seems to be taking twice as long as it ever did in C1 5 Pro. Anyone else having this issue of extraordinary long processing times in C1 6 ?

Since the JPEG quality has been changed from Capture One 5, although your recipe may be the same as before your final JPEG size may be twice as large... hence taking twice the time to process.0 -
dunno about the JPEG... but overall performance seems to have also slowed down considerably... I have just upgraded to an i5 17" MBP, 4gb RAM, etc... and v5 was doing quite allright. 6 is definitely seriously slower and hogs system resources like you wont believe!
As I am typing this, I am moving 64 files with the old "move-to" (now renamed) tool... I started it before opening up this thread, it's still trying to copy, and I have received 2 warnings from Chrome about the page becoming "unresponsive" and waiting for the typed text to catch up...
All processes have slowed down... not just JPEG creation0
